Can I donate with Zelle?
Yes, we encourage donations with Zelle as it is a no-fee option supported by most financial institutions in the US. You can set firstname.lastname@example.org as the recipient in Zelle. Note that your bank will have a daily limit on Zelle transactions.
Can I donate via bank-to-bank electronic transfer?
Yes, we can accept donations through bank-to-bank electronic transfer. Please contact us at email@example.com for the bank account details.
Do you have a preference for large donation amounts?
Our website uses PayPal for donations. However, there is a transaction fee associated with each donation. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to donate more than USD 1,000.
Do you accept donations from Donor-Advised Funds (DAF)?
Yes, as a registered US 501(c)(3), all DAFs are able to donate to us. Normally such DAF donations reach us in the form of a check. To speed up the transfer of funds, we initiate the setup of electronic fund transfers (EFT) with the DAF when we receive their first donation. We are currently setup for EFT with Fidelity Charitable.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Gifts are deductible under applicable laws. Deserving Causes India Foundation is a US registered 501(c)(3) organization. Our Tax-ID number is 81-4476304. Please consult your tax professional if you have questions.
Can I volunteer with Deserving Causes India Foundation?
